Arabic and World Literature: Comparative and Multidisciplinary Perspectives (AWL) is a new open access journal that provides a forum in both English and Arabic for researchers investigating the intersections between Arabic national literatures, global literary theories, and current trends in World Literature.
 
Published annually, the journal promotes scholarly research on the poetics of Arabic literature focusing on the interface between classical and modern, written and oral, and standard and vernacular compositions. AWL aspires to be a blazing trail in exploring the relationship between the Arabic literary tradition and its global sisters, providing a better understanding of the role of literature as both a reflector and shaper of human culture and human destiny.
 
Editorial Board of AWL comprises of academics from institutions all over the world. Collaboration of each member of the Editorial Board increases the quality of the peer review process which supports our vision through making sure that every submitted manuscript is reviewed under high ethical standards and following through with fair decisions on publication.

To maintain the quality of our stages, Article Processing Charges will be charged for every accepted manuscript to cover the costs of the different stages from submission to publication. The Article Processing Charges ‘‘250 GBP’’ are clearly displayed in the submission preparation checklist of the journal and are the only fees should be charged per article (i.e., there are no submission fees or any other fees).
